The Kansas City Chiefs are 2-0 following a thrilling victory over Cincinnati on Sunday, and for the second-straight week, the back-to-back defending Super Bowl champions are the unanimous top team in the various NFL "power rankings" from around the web.
Vinnie Iyer from The Sporting News, whose full rankings can be found by clicking here, summed up the Chiefs' victory over the Bengals in his analysis:
"Kansas City seems to be tougher than ever to beat in close games in the clutch."
Elsewhere, Bucky Brooks at FOX Sports wrote the following in his latest rankings, which also featured the Chiefs atop the rest:
"The defending champs have mastered the art of winning games. Andy Reid's crew has the talent and toughness to win high-scoring shootouts or grind-it-out affairs against elite competition. Against Cincinnati, the Chiefs overcame a sluggish performance from Patrick Mahomes to chalk up their second win of the season behind a pair of unlikely heroes (S Chamarri Conner and LT Wanya Morris) scoring pivotal touchdowns. With Harrison Butker nailing another game-winner, the Chiefs will be a tough out for every opponent on their schedule."
