The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night, locking up a ninth-straight AFC West title while also preserving their lofty standing in the various NFL "power rankings" from around the web.

The Chiefs checked in at No. 2 in Pro Football Focus’ rankings this week, trailing only the Detroit Lions. Here's a portion of what writer Thomas Valentine had to say about Kansas City:

"Even when the chips are down, the Chiefs always seem to find a way."

The folks at Bleacher Report, who ranked the Chiefs at No. 3 this week, had a similar take in their analysis:

"If there's a way, the Chiefs will find it, exploit it and win."
