The Kansas City Chiefs enjoyed a well-deserved break last weekend, but despite not playing, Kansas City maintained a high standing in the various NFL "power rankings" from around the web.
The folks at Bleacher Report, for example, once again ranked Kansas City as the top team in the NFL heading into Week 7. Here's a portion of their analysis:
"The Chiefs just play solid, complementary football on a weekly basis...and having the NFL's best quarterback doesn't hurt."
Elsewhere, Vinnie Iyer at The Sporting News also ranked Kansas City as the league’s No. 1 team this week. Here's what Iyer wrote about the Chiefs:
"The offense should come back sharper around Patrick Mahomes while the defense becomes a steadier force with bigger games to come. It starts with the Super Bowl rematch in San Francisco in Week 7."
