Power Rankings Week 12 | Where do the Chiefs Rank Following Sunday's Loss?

Here’s a look at the latest NFL power rankings from around the web

The Kansas City Chiefs lost their first game of the season on Sunday, but despite the defeat, the Chiefs are still near the very top of the various NFL "power rankings" from around the web.

Kansas City checked in at No. 2 in Yahoo! Sports’ rankings this week, for example, behind only the Detroit Lions. Here's what the rankings' author, Frank Schwab, wrote about the Chiefs:

"Don't overreact about Kansas City's first loss, which didn't happen until almost Thanksgiving. The Chiefs lost a close game on the road after starting the season 9-0. They have won back-to-back championships. The Bills got back in the race for the No. 1 playoff seed with a big win Sunday, but the Chiefs still have the better record and the lead in that race. Kansas City still deserves the No. 2 spot in the rankings for now. They're not going anywhere."

Pro Football Focus, meanwhile, still has the Chiefs atop their rankings despite Sunday’s loss. Here's a portion of PFF's analysis:

"They're the Chiefs, and they're 9-1. They just lost to a very good Bills team, so it's not time to panic."

Here's a look at where the Chiefs landed in a handful of other "power rankings" from around the web:
