It's a time for celebration.
The Kansas City Chiefs have reached a long-term extension with linebacker Justin Houston, which will keep him in his No. 50 Chiefs jersey for the foreseeable future.
In 2014, Houston put together the best season for a pass rusher in franchise history, breaking former Chiefs great and Hall of Famer Derrick Thomas' mark of 20 sacks back during the 1990 season.
With that in mind, let's go back and watch every one of Houston's 22 sacks from his historic 2014 season.
From Art Still to Neil Smith to Derrick Thomas and Tamba Hali, Houston joins an elite fraternity of pass rushers who have given the "Sack City" nickname life in Kansas City. While Houston's name was already among these greats, his commitment to this organization and city after signing this extension will only further cement his growing legacy.
The mystique of Arrowhead Stadium was built off of defense and pressure, and there isn't a time that it's louder than on an opponent's attempt at third-and-long. Houston feeds off that energy and Chiefs Kingdom will continue rocking when he's bringing down opposing quarterbacks for the next several years.
It's a great day for the Kansas City Chiefs and all of Chiefs Kingdom.
