The Elite Eight wrapped up Sunday with Texas Tech falling to Villanova in the East Regional Championship and KU knocking off Duke in overtime in the Midwest Regional Championship.
And some Chiefs players were tuned in.
The first matchup festered a little trash talk between Texas Tech alum Patrick Mahomes and Villanova alum Tanoh Kpassagnon.
As for KU, they picked up a new fan in Chris Jones. He repped the Mississippi State transfer Malik Newman's jersey, who scored all of the Jayhawks points in OT.
