Defensive Notes

Rookie linebacker Tanoh Kpassagnon was on the field for every defensive play on Sunday and made the most of each, recording six tackles (4.0 solo), three tackles for loss and two sacks.

Fellow rookie linebacker Ukeme Eligwe also played every defensive snap on Sunday, tallying three tackles and the first sack of his career.  

Joining the two rookies on the field for every defensive play was linebacker Ramik Wilson, who led the team in tackles with eight (7.0 solo). Wilson found the end zone for the first time in his career in the third quarter, scooping up a fumble and returning it 11 yards for a touchdown.

Defensive back Keith Reaser played 50 defensive snaps (77 percent) in his Chiefs debut, recording four tackles, two passes defensed and a sack.

Linebacker Terrance Smith was on the field for 62 defensive snaps (95 percent), tallying six tackles (5.0 solo), two passes defensed and an interception.

Offensive Notes

Rookie wide receiver Jehu Chesson played all 67 offensive snaps on Sunday, catching one pass for eight yards.

Offensive guard Parker Ehinger played for the first time since suffering a knee injury midway through last season, playing every offensive snap.  

Fullback Anthony Sherman played 53 snaps (79 percent), carrying the ball a career-high 14 times for 40 yards and a touchdown. Sherman had just six carries in his seven-year career entering the game.

Wide receiver Albert Wilson played 28 snaps (42 percent) on Sunday, catching 10 passes for 147 yards – both career highs.
