Get ready to watch the Kansas City Chiefs under the lights, a lot.
The team will play in a franchise-record and league-high six primetime games in 2017, including the opening-night matchup against the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. Three primetime games will be played in the friendly confines of Arrowhead Stadium, while the three other games will come on the road.

"Being selected to play in the season-opening game and having a league-high six primetime contests is a tremendous honor and tribute to our team and organization," Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said. "We've already started preparation for these teams and we know we have a lot of great challenges ahead of us. We are looking forward to getting in front of Chiefs Kingdom and building off the success we had last season."
The schedule includes five primetime games in the first eight weeks of the season, as well as three primetime division games. Only one game, the Week 5 Sunday Night Football matchup against the Houston Texans, is eligible to be flexed out of the primetime slot.
After not playing on Monday Night Football all of last season, the Chiefs will play in two Monday night games. The Chiefs will also suit up on Saturday for the first time since 2011 when they host the Los Angeles Chargers on December 16.
Chiefs single-game tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 24, to Jackson County taxpayers (9 a.m.) and Chiefs Season Ticket Members (10 a.m.)and will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. o Wednesday, April 26.**
