As previously noted, for the fifth consecutive year, the NFL is revealing its top 100 players headed into the season on "NFL Top 100," a program on the NFL Network. The rankings are voted on by players in the NFL.
On Thursday night, the league's network revealed numbers 20 to 11.
Running back Jamaal Charles, who as of last year (2014) is the Chiefs franchise leader in yards rushing, came in at 12th on this year’s list.
Charles becomes the fourth Chiefs player on this year's rankings, joining linebacker Tamba Hali (No. 70), wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (No. 61) and linebacker Justin Houston (No. 27).
Charles compiled 1,033 yards rushing in 2014 and tied for the final AFC lead in total touchdowns with 14 despite not being able to play for the majority of Week 2's game against the Broncos and all of Week 3 against the Dolphins.
