Next summer, concerts will return to Arrowhead Stadium as the Chiefs announced today that the global superstar group One Direction will bring its "On the Road Again 2015" tour to the home of the Chiefs on Tuesday, July 28. The concert will mark the fifth concert to come to Arrowhead Stadium since 2011 and is the first since national country music recording artist Kenny Chesney brought his "No Shoes Nation" tour to Kansas City in 2013.

"We are excited that One Direction has announced that they will be playing at Arrowhead Stadium in the summer of 2015," Chiefs President Mark Donovan said. "Over the past number of years we have put an emphasis on making Arrowhead Stadium an entertainment destination for fans of all ages, interests and backgrounds. This is a great opportunity for One Direction fans throughout Chiefs Kingdom to experience all that Arrowhead has to offer as an iconic entertainment venue."

Arrowhead was one of 17 North American stadiums announced for the group's tour, following a six-stop tour in Europe. Kansas City is the fifth stop on the North American leg of the schedule and the only stop in the six-state region of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Tickets for the July 28, 2015 concert will go on sale to the general public at noon on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014.

Prior to the general public on-sale, a presale will be offered to Jackson County taxpayers, Chiefs suiteholders, Chiefs corporate partners and Season Ticket Members beginning on Thursday, Oct. 30. The Jackson County presale will begin at 9 a.m. while Chiefs suiteholders, partners and Season Ticket Members will receive an email notification about their respective presale opportunities.

The general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning at noon on Saturday, Nov. 1 at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800) 745-3000, in person at any Ticketmaster outlet or at the Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office located between Founder's Plaza and the Hy-Vee Gate on the northwest side of the stadium. Tickets can also be purchased at www.LiveNation.com.

An eight-ticket limit will apply to all ticket purchases for this event. For suites or other premium seating options, fans may call (816) 920-4839.
