Mock Draft Roundup 10.0: Three Analysts Agree on Same Running Back

The 10th mock draft roundup of the series offers a variety of positions for the Chiefs

In our last mock draft roundup, the consensus among analysts was that the Chiefs would either take a quarterback or wide receiver. A little less than two weeks later, that consensus has changed.

Six analysts in this week's mock draft believe the Chiefs will select a linebacker with the No. 27 overall pick, with two analysts predicting Vanderbilt's Zach Cunningham and another two predicting Temple's Haason Reddick.

The most popular player mocked to the Chiefs this week is a running back—Florida State's Dalvin Cook.

The three analysts who predict Cook to the Chiefs cite his potential fit in head coach Andy Reid's West Coast offense.

Sports Illustrated's Chris Burke writes Cook would "light it up," and CBS Sports' Ryan Wilson explained that with his receiving and running ability, you could only "imagine the headaches he and Tyreek Hill will create for opposing defenses." ESPN's Todd McShay went as a far as to say Cook would be a perfect fit in Reid's system.

With the offseason departure of Jamaal Charles, it's possible the 2016 AP All-American could be the next running back to wear red and gold.

Here's a look at the latest mock draft picks for the Chiefs:
