Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, linebacker Dee Ford and cornerback Steve Nelson all returned to practice on Wednesday after missing last week's game against the Denver Broncos.
"They're just testing things out. We're going to gradually see how they feel," Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said. "They'll be out there moving around a little bit just to see how they feel."
Jeremy Maclin
Maclin returned to practice on Wednesday after missing the last three games with a groin strain.
Maclin left early in the first quarter four weeks ago against the Jacksonville Jaguars and has been sidelined ever since.
Dee Ford
Ford was back at practice after missing last week's game with a hamstring strain.
The third-year linebacker suffered the injury in the third quarter two weeks ago against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and did not return.
Steve Nelson
Nelson returned to practice after missing last week's game with a neck injury.
Dontari Poe
Defensive tackle Dontari Poe was absent from practice on Wednesday as he continues to nurse a back injury. Poe suffered the injury in the second quarter of last week's game against the Denver Broncos and did not return.
"He's making progress, it's just a matter of back spasms and calming those down a little bit," Reid said.
Jaye Howard
Defensive tackle Jaye Howard did not practice as he continues to deal with a hip injury.
