It's never a bad thing to enter free agency, following a Pro Bowl season; it's a nice spot that Randy Starks finds himself in, heading towards March 12 (start of free agency).

Starks just completed his ninth NFL season. He spent four years with the Tennessee Titans, before playing the last five seasons in Miami.

STRENGTHS:
Starks has been an integral part of the Miami Dolphins defense over the last five seasons. His quick hands and explosiveness are two reasons that he's played in two Pro Bowls (2010 and 2012).
Reliability-
Compared to other free agent defensive linemen, Starks played 826 snaps in 2012; the second-highest total was 719.
Consistency
The 29-year-old Starks hasn't missed a game, since putting on the Dolphins helmet in 2008.
Starks has helped the Dolphins defesnive line, since arriving in 2008, helping earn the third-best rushing defense in 2011.
WEAKNESSES:
Age may play a factor in the Dolphins decision on Starks, as suggested by Bleacher Report's Ciaran Gowan.
FINAL TAKE:
"He's older, but he could be effective as an inside, space-eating 3-4 or power 4-3 kind of tackle," ESPN NFL Insider Bill Polian said.
"He had a very good year with Miami. This type of player is hard to find, so I imagine he'll have a market."
Having Pro Bowl experience on his resume, will open doors for Starks, who has been very stable, throughout his career. In nine years in the league, Starks has missed four games and he'll likely be rewarded for that.
