General manager John Dorsey spoke with the media via conference call on Thursday afternoon, and he provided an injury update on running back Jamaal Charles.
Charles suffered a torn ACL during the third quarter of Kansas City's Week 5 game against the Chicago Bears.
"As I look at it right now, I think he may be ahead of schedules in terms of his rehabilitation," Dorsey said of the Chiefs all-time rushing leader. "The guy is an extremely talented player, love him to death, love how dirty tough he is. He's a Chief."
