The Kansas City Chiefs (9-6) travel to take on the Denver Broncos (5-10) Sunday afternoon at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium in Colorado.
Here are 10 stats to know for the game, presented by DraftKings:
1. The Chiefs have dominated the AFC West recently
With their win over the Miami Dolphins last Sunday, the Chiefs clinched their second-straight AFC West division title for the first time in franchise history.
Since 2014, the Chiefs have gone 18-5 against divisional opponents.
2. Chiefs have won four-straight over the Broncos
The Chiefs have outscored the Broncos 121 to 69 over the past four meetings, which equals out to an average score of 30.25 to 17.25.
The Chiefs have forced 14 turnovers in those four games, which averages out to 3.5 per game.
3. The Chiefs have been a model of consistency under Andy Reid
Since Reid arrived in Kansas City before the 2013 season, the Chiefs are one of only three teams in the NFL to have a winning record in each of the past five seasons.
The other teams in the league to have the same level of consistent success are the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots.
The Broncos, who come into this game with a 5-10 record, had four-straight seasons with a winning record until this year.
4. Paxton Lynch is starting for the Broncos on Sunday
Former Broncos' first-round pick Paxton Lynch, who was taken with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft of out Memphis, will make his fourth career start on Sunday.
In four career games (three starts), Lynch has completed 59.8 percent (58 of 97) of his passes for 538 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
This will be Lynch's first action against the Chiefs.
5. Basic rankings – offense
The Broncos' offense is tied for 19th in the league by averaging 323.3 yards per game. They have also turned it over 31 times this year, which is the second-most in the league.
The Chiefs' offense ranks fifth in the league by averaging 375.5 yards per game. They have turned it over just nine times this year, which is the fewest in the league.
6. Basic rankings – defense
The Broncos' defense ranks second in the league by allowing just 284.1 yards per game. They have 15 takeaways this year, which is tied for 27th in the league.
The Chiefs' defense ranks 28th in the league by allowing 367.1 yards per game. They have forced 23 takeaways this year, including nine in the last three games, and that ranks 10th in the league.
7. Marcus Peters is good
According to the folks over at Pro Football Focus, Peters has been targeted 16 times over the past two games against the Charger and Dolphins, allowing just four receptions for 59 yards.
Peters also has two interceptions, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery over that time.
In five career games against the Broncos, Peters has three interceptions and has scored two touchdowns—one on a pick-six of Peyton Manning at Arrowhead in 2015, and then his forced fumble of Broncos' running back Jamaal Charles earlier this year when he ripped the ball from Charles' hands and returned it 45 yards for the touchdown.
8. Kareem Hunt is within striking distance of rushing title
It's unknown at this point just how much some of the key Chiefs' starters will play on Sunday against the Broncos, but one player who is within striking distance of something pretty special is rookie running back Kareem Hunt.
Heading into the final weekend of the regular season, Hunt ranks second in the league with 1,292 yards rushing—trailing the Los Angeles Rams' Todd Gurley (1,305) by just 13 yards.
It's also unknown how much Gurley will play in their finale against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, but it's something to monitor during the action on Sunday.
9. Strength on strength
The Chiefs' offense ranks second in the league by averaging 6.12 yards per play, while the Broncos' defense ranks third in the league by allowing just 4.80 yards per play.
Again, it's unknown which starters may play and how much they may play, but it's still an interesting number to watch during Sunday's contest.
10. Von Miller is good
According to Pro Football Focus, the Broncos' Von Miller is the top-graded 3-4 outside linebacker in the NFL.
Miller has an NFL-best 58 quarterback hurries this season, but will have his work cut out for him again this Sunday as he faces Chiefs' right tackle Mitch Schwartz, who has more than held his own against the Perennial All-Pro in the past.
