Chiefs Sign WR Jeremy Maclin

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Wednesday that the club has signed wide receiver Jeremy Maclin

Maclin (6-0, 198)has played in 75 games (73 starts) in five NFL seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles (2009-14). His career numbers include 343 receptions for 4,771 yards (13.9 avg.) with 36 touchdowns. Maclin's most productive season came in 2014 as he earned a trip to the Pro Bowl after tallying 85 catches for 1,318 yards (15.5 avg.) with 10 touchdowns. He has had over 50 receptions in each of his five active seasons. Maclin also occasionally served as a returner for the Eagles, adding 15 punt returns for 101 yards (6.7 avg.) and eight kickoff returns for 146 yards (18.3 avg.).

Maclin originally entered the NFL as a first-round draft pick (19th overall) of the Eagles in the 2009 NFL Draft. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he played collegiately at the University of Missouri. He prepped at Kirkwood High School in Kirkwood, Missouri.
