Chiefs Replay: Week 1 vs. the Houston Texans
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid doesn't like missing the postseason.
Not many head coaches in the NFL can say it, but for Reid, that happening truly is a rarity. Entering the 2015 season, it had only happened six times in his 16 years as a head coach.
One of those years was 2014, when the Chiefs finished 9-7, missing out on the playoffs by just one game.
With that in mind, you knew that going into the Week 1 game with the Texans, Reid would have his Chiefs ready to come out of the gate with a vengeance.
But it wasn't going to be easy.
Standing in the way of the Chiefs was Texans linebacker J.J. Watt, one of the fiercest competitors in the entire league, and he couldn't have liked that on the other sideline was the 2014 sack king in Chiefs LB Justin Houston.
