It's that time of year again.
With the NFL Draft in the books, the NFL Network is continuing its yearly tradition of counting down the best 100 players in the league as voted upon by the players themselves. Last year, the Chiefs had a league-high nine players appear on the countdown.
Monday night brought with it the Chiefs' first appearance on this year's countdown.
For the second year in a row, Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith was voted as the league's 81st best player.
In 2016, Smith completed 328 of 489 passes for 3,502 yards, 15 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Smith rushed 48 times for 134 yards and five touchdowns on the ground as well.
