Last Tuesday, Mashable put together an article recognizing 10 unbelievable Guinness World Records titles broken by companies.
The Chiefs made the list at No. 7 for setting the loudest crowd roar at a sports stadium record last September.
Here's the excerpt from Mashable:
In the Fall of 2014, fans of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs attempted to break the record for the loudest crowd roar at a sports stadium. After a back-and-forth battle with the Seattle Seahawks spanning more than a year, the Kansas City Chiefs and fans wanted to reclaim the title.
The attempt took place at Arrowhead Stadium during a Monday Night Football game against the New England Patriots. With eight seconds left in the first quarter, the noise level peaked at 142.2 decibels -– making Arrowhead the loudest it's ever been.
The Chiefs were the only professional sports organization recognized on the list.
