Chiefs Lead Chargers, 10-6, at Halftime

Tyreek Hill’s 64-yard touchdown catch has the Chiefs out in front at halftime

The Kansas City Chiefs are leading the Los Angeles Chargers, 10-6, at halftime at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday night.

Chiefs' quarterback Alex Smith completed 13 of 17 passes for 182 yards in the half, finding wide receiver Tyreek Hill for a 64-yard touchdown midway through the second quarter. It was Smith's 24th touchdown pass of the season, marking a career-high.

Smith's efforts added up to a 130.0 passer rating in the half.

The catch also put Hill over 1,000 yards receiving for the season, making him just the third player in franchise history to tally a 1,000-yard season within their first two years in the league.

Hill finished the half with four catches for 82 yards.

Kansas City's' defense held Los Angeles to just one score in the half, sacking Chargers' quarterback Philip Rivers twice.
