While the Kansas City Chiefs might not *currently *hold a first-round pick in this year's draft, that doesn't mean there aren't mock drafts out there that Chiefs fans can't enjoy.
And that's because in a few of the latest mock drafts, which, for all intents and purposes should onlybe used as a way to get to know players, and not necessarily an indication of what the team might do because nobody really knows, have gone beyond the first round.
So, there's plenty to enjoy and keep all of us busy as we wait one more week for the *actual *draft to get here.
And with that said, the Chiefs currently hold the following eight picks in the draft:
Round 2 – No. 54
Round 3 – No. 78 (from Washington)
Round 3 – No. 86
Round 4 – No. 122
Round 4 – No. 124 (from Los Angeles)
Round 6 – No. 196
Round 7 – No. 233
Round 7 – No. 243
But just because this is what the Chiefs have right now in terms of draft picks doesn't mean that's what they'll end up by the time it's all said and done.
As we've seen since he first took over as general manager last summer, there's no telling what Brett Veach might swing over draft weekend. He's aggressive when he sees a player he likes, and he's not afraid to make some moves.
In the spirit of entertainment and seeing which players the experts believe would fit the Chiefs, here's a look at some of the latest mock draft selections for the Chiefs from around the internet.
