Before the game on Sunday against the Chiefs, a number of Cardinals players and coaches wore the "Be Bold. Be Brave. Be Berry." T-shirt in support of Chiefs safety Eric Berry, who was put on the non-football illness list after what doctors believe is a "leading consideration" of lymphoma.
Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians also wore the shirt in support of the Chiefs safety, which is no doubt a classy move by the Cardinals organization.
But they didn't stop there as Cardinals president Michael Bidwill will make a $10,000 donation to the Eric Berry Foundation, only further showing the fraternity of the NFL and the support the teams have for one another.
"One of the things that makes the NFL so special is that you compete against each other 16 times a season but the rest of the time you are colleagues and partners and friends," Bidwill said in a statement. "When there's an opportunity to support each other you do. We've been on both sides of that support and I know right now all of us are pulling for Eric as he faces this challenge head on."
You can find information on how to purchase one of these Berry shirts at www.kcchiefs.com/berry.
All of the proceeds (100 percent) go to the Eric Berry Foundation.
