Denver Broncos Linebacker Von Miller hits the "NFL Top 100" ranked No. 33
C.J. Anderson will enter training camp as the team's No. 1 running back.
Refuting reports a few weeks back that said Monte Ball and C.J. Anderson could potentially split carries for the 2015 season, Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak set the record straight this week.
"We're right where we're at. Obviously, C.J., that's in a lot of ways his spot to hang on to," Broncos coach Gary Kubiak told ESPN.com. "I think it's very competitive. You never know about the backs until you put the pads on. I think C.J. has worked extremely hard.
"Coming off of last year, he deserves that opportunity, and I think he's getting ready for that opportunity. But he knows he's being pushed very hard."

QB Philip Rivers calls CB Jason Verrett the most impressive Charger he's seen this offseason
Reporters asked Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers who the most impressive Charger (other than himself) is this offseason.
His answer was cornerback Jason Verrett.
"He has the potential to be one of the top tier corners in this league," Rivers said, per Chargers.com. "Not to put added pressure on him, but he has been probably for me the most impressive guy on the field this offseason. Just his quickness in and out of breaks and the way he's played. I know for him, he wants to stay healthy and be out there all 16 (games), because with him out there healthy, he can have a big impact on our team and our defense."

The Raiders signed third-round pick TE Clive Walford
The Raiders signed rookie tight end Clive Walford of Miami University Tuesday.
According to the Associated Press, that leaves only defensive lineman Mario Edwards Jr. as the final draft pick that Oakland has yet to sign.
Here is the write-up by NFL draft analyst Lance Zierlein on Walford:
"A combo tight end who can help a team in the running game and through the air, Walford can be moved around the field. He lacks the elite athletic traits to be a game-changer at the position, but he is becoming a premium blocker. With teams looking for versatile TEs to create matchups in two-TE sets, Walford's stock should be high."
