On Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs announced that head coach Andy Reid recently had knee replacement surgery, and because of that, will not attend the NFL Scouting Combine next week in Indianapolis.
Reid is currently rehabbing the knee in Kansas City.
The combine begins on Tuesday and will feature more than 300 of the best draft-eligible prospects in the country. They will go through medical checks, meet with teams and media, and go through a gauntlet of workouts with their peers.
It's one of the most important weeks for these prospects to not only impress NFL teams with their athletic ability, but also how they handle their interviews when they meet with the teams individually.
