The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Thursday that all registered participants for the Chiefs Fantennial 5K and FanFest presented by GEHA on Saturday, Oct. 5, will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of tickets to Super Bowl LIV in Miami on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020.
Registration for the run and the festival, as well as information about the ticket giveaway (no purchase necessary for sweepstakes entry), is available at www.chiefs.com/fantennial5k. Registration will remain open until race day, or until all race spots are full. A portion of the race proceeds will benefit Lincoln College Preparatory Academy.
Each Fantennial 5K participant will receive an NFL100-branded shirt to commemorate the special race. The race route takes runners around the Truman Sports Complex and will conclude in Lot M outside Arrowhead Stadium, where the FanFest will be taking place.
Open to all 5K participants and their guests, FanFest will feature music, food, beverages, tailgate games and scheduled appearances by Chiefs Cheerleaders, KC Wolf and notable Chiefs legends. During FanFest, one lucky race participant's name will be drawn for the two Super Bowl LIV tickets. Winners must be present to win.
The Fantennial 5K and FanFest presented by GEHA are the key fan events of the club's Fantennial weekend – part of the year-long NFL100 celebration – which the Chiefs will host throughout the weekend of the team's Oct. 6 game vs. the Indianapolis Colts.
