Kansas City Chiefs, in Partnership with with CSL International, to Distribute Third-Party Fan Survey Today

As part of the ongoing decision-making process around the long-term home of the Kansas City Chiefs, the club is distributing an email survey to more than 300,000 people today on behalf of CSL International – the third-party research firm retained by the Chiefs that has consulted on more than 2,000 sports, entertainment and public venue projects – to gather feedback on concepts, features and amenities for both a potential new stadium as well as a potential renovation of GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

The hundreds of thousands of individuals from the club's database represent a broad cross-section of the local and regional fanbase, including past attendees of Chiefs games and other stadium events. Respondents are being asked to provide background information and characteristics, identify how they currently engage with the team, as well as provide thoughts and feedback on specific aspects of the in-stadium experience – including existing features, new concepts and best practices – that have been implemented by other clubs in similar situations.

Respondents will receive two links via email, one providing them the opportunity to answer questions only about a new stadium and one to answer questions only about a renovation. Fans are encouraged to complete both surveys if they wish. If fans did not receive an email with links to the survey but would like to participate, they can find the links at www.chiefs.com/stadium/surveys. Respondents are not being asked to rank their personal preference for either a new stadium or a renovated stadium in this survey.

A series of focus groups and individual interviews were previously conducted by CSL International in early December. Upon completion of the wider direct-to-fan survey this month, results will be analyzed by CSL International to provide additional data points and insight for the team's path forward by showing how fans currently experience game day and how they would like to interact with a new or renovated stadium in the future.
