First Round Trade History of the Chiefs

A look back at what the Chiefs did with previous first-round draft picks

The 2014 NFL Draft is 37 days away and the Kansas City Chiefs currently have six picks to be used, during the three-day event at New York City's Radio City Music Hall.

What the Chiefs do with each of the picks remains to be seen, including their first-round selection (23rd overall).

Chiefs general manager John Dorsey has said that he is always looking to do whatever is best for the team, which could include a possible trade.

"My phone is always open," Dorsey said earlier this month. "Rest assured that I will try to do everything I can to move up (or) move down, if I feel like it's time to pull the trigger and go up and get a player, or pull the trigger to move down to get a player, I will use every resource available to me."

If Dorsey and the Chiefs decide to make a trade in the first round, it wouldn't be the first time; below is a look at the previous first-round trades made by the Chiefs in past years.
