Second-year defensive back Eric Murray and the defensive backs group visited The Children’s Place in Kansas City on Tuesday afternoon.
Murray ran the children in attendance through Play 60 activities.
"It was fun," Murray said. "We did the ladder drills. I was just trying to show them ladder drills because, in football, people care about the feet. You have to have pretty feet. It translates here and there, but just showing them basic fundamentals and having fun with them. I did the little bunny ear one. That's an exercise that we do, but it's relevant."
The Children's Place, according to its website, nurtures and promotes the healthy development of young children who have survived abuse, neglect and trauma by providing specialized services and family support, within a safe and caring environment.

This is the third and final year the Children's Place will be the beneficiary of the Chiefs Charity Game, which in its first two years, has already raised $1.47 million for the organization.
"Chosen as the beneficiary of the Chiefs Charity Game has been a game-changer for us," The Children's Place's CEO and director, Ann Thomas, said. "As the recipients, we are going to be taking this money and expanding what we do in this facility, so it will allow us to reach more children and provide a more quality-based facility to do the services."
This year's charity game takes place on Friday night, August 11, when the Chiefs host the San Francisco 49ers at Arrowhead Stadium for their first preseason matchup of the season.
Since its inception, the Chiefs Charity Game has raised $11.5 million for the 17 charities that have been beneficiaries of the event.
