With the help of GEHA (Government Employees Health Association, Inc.), the Kansas City Chiefs are announcing a new wellness program available to Chiefs fans and GEHA members in Chiefs Kingdom, across the country and throughout the world. The Chiefs Wellness Program presented by GEHA is a free web- and app-based program that focuses on three key pillars of health – physical, mental and social health.
Using a mixture of videos, graphics, articles and events, the program will feature weekly content from the Chiefs organization, which is slated to expand to include workout suggestions from the team's strength and conditioning staff, meal recipes from the team's food service professionals, and overall health tips from the team's athletic training staff. The content will live on Chiefs.com and the Chiefs Mobile app, with program highlights being featured on the club's social media platforms.
"From the earliest days of our partnership with GEHA, we talked about the important shared values between our two organizations, and we were aligned on what this relationship could mean for the community," Chiefs President Mark Donovan said. As the Exclusive Health Plan, Dental Plan and Vision Plan Partner of the Kansas City Chiefs, GEHA will provide timely content throughout the year as part of the program, and other Chiefs partners with health and wellness messages and offerings will also be featured regularly.
