The Kansas City Chiefs will hold Flag Warrior auditions on Friday night, June 12, at 7 p.m. at the University of Kansas Hospital Training Complex.

As cheerleader director Stephanie Judah describes, becoming a Flag Warrior offers fans a very unique opportunity to get involved in Chiefs Kingdom first hand.

"The awesome part of that position is that you truly get the best seat in the house," Judah said. "They are down on the field and they run every time we score, but they also get to run in our intro part of pregame, so they lead the team across the field.

"When you ask our current Flag Warriors, one of their favorite moments is getting to run out of the tunnel leading our team across the field—80,000 fans screaming and yelling.

"It's such an adrenaline rush and a lot of fun."

For requirements, the Chiefs are looking for males that are 18 years or older and are diehard Chiefs fans.

Candidates must be athletic enough to handle running 160 to 200 yards in just a few minutes time in any weather condition. They are also expected to wave a 12' x 6' flag and must be available for every Chiefs home game for the 2015 season.

Auditions will include learning several game-day routes and personal interviews.

Overall, Flag Warriors will have the opportunity to watch the Chiefs games from the sidelines, interact with fans, run across the field at Arrowhead Stadium and get paid for it.
