Fans and members of the business community will have the opportunity to join their favorite Chiefs to celebrate the start of the NFL season at the 2015 Chiefs Kickoff Luncheon. The event, which will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown, will benefit the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.

For more than five decades, the Kansas City Chiefs have commemorated the start of the NFL season with the opportunity for the community and fans to gather with the newest members of the team, as well as their favorite veteran players and the coaching staff. "We are proud to continue this Kansas City tradition," Chiefs President Mark Donovan said. "This event provides our organization the opportunity to say thank you to all those in the community that have been so supportive of us and there is no better way to start the 2015 season than to come together for the annual Kickoff Luncheon."

This unique opportunity is the only annual event that features the entire Kansas City Chiefs roster, including coaches, players and cheerleaders. Notable speakers will be on hand to address attendees, including Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt, General Manager John Dorsey, Head Coach Andy Reid and KC Chamber President and CEO Jim Heeter.

"The KC Chamber is thrilled to again partner with the Kansas City Chiefs to host one of the premier sports events of the season," Heeter said. "The Kickoff Luncheon is a great way to celebrate the Chiefs and send them off for another exciting season of football.  The team does so much for Kansas City, both philanthropically and in terms of bringing our bi-state community together in a way few other things do."  

Proceeds from this year's annual Chiefs Kickoff Luncheon will benefit the KC Chamber in support of the Big 5 – five specific areas outlined by the Chamber to improve the Kansas City region – growth in early childhood education, life sciences, arts, entrepreneurship and the urban core.

Sponsorship packages are available, some of which include exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities with players and coaches. Single admission tickets cost $75.
