Recently, the Chiefs held auditions at Arrowhead Stadium to find talented musicians to add to the Chiefs Rumble, a professional drum line.
"The Rumble is a professional drum line whose primary function is to entertain and excite Chiefs fans on game days," Matt Arnet, Director of the Rumble explained. "The 2014-2015 Rumble auditions were a tremendous success. Many excellent drummers and lifelong members of the Chiefs Kingdom turned out for a shot at performing at Arrowhead on game day. The competition was fierce, and will push the Rumble to a whole new level this season."
Prior to kickoff, the Chiefs Rumble roams the parking lots performing for tailgaters. They also have the unique opportunity to perform on the field before kickoff and lead Chiefs fans in the Tomahawk Chop.
"Before the game, the Rumble performs on the field, right before the Chiefs are coming out of the locker room," Arnet noted. "We are on the video boards for a performance and then start the Tomahawk Chop to get the fans excited about the game."
The group is also very involved in the Kansas City community. Below is a look at the Rumble performing at Kauffman Center earlier this year.
