Your packet will be mailed to you via USPS to the shipping address you designate during your registration. Your shipping information and tracking number will come to you via email from Big River Race Management (noreply@goshippo.com). Please allow up to 2 weeks for your items to arrive due to recent delays in shipping services. If you register for the event past May 27, 2025 there is the potential you may receive your items after the race date. If you did not select to have your packet mailed to you via USPS you will be required to pick it up on June 6, 2025 from 12pm-7pm in the Chiefs Pro Shop.

The 5k race competitive wave is designed for runners who would like to race to achieve a time goal. Any of the 5k family friendly waves are designed for those who wish to walk, jog or run at their own pace who do not intend to achieve a time goal. The family friendly wave is great for those participating with strollers and/or young children.

Fans worldwide are welcome to participate, however a $20 fee will be assessed for shipping. Anyone residing outside of the United States is required to pay $20.00 shipping costs for their race packet.

The race will begin on Saturday, June 7th at Arrowhead Drive on the south side of GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. If you are participating virtually, you may start and finish your 5K at the location of your choice.

The 1K race begins at 8:00am and the 5K race begins at 8:15am. We encourage runners to arrive early. Detailed instructions will be sent to you via email.

• Beginning at 9:30am in Lot M the diaper dash is designed for babies 6-15 months old to crawl 12 yards to cross the finish line. The overall winner will receive a prize pack.
• Participating babies must be able to crawl to participate. Babies who can walk are not eligible to participate.
• Two individuals must escort and accompany the participating baby to the race and will be permitted on the turf during the post-race celebration.
• The two individuals escorting the baby may use objects (toys, keys, etc.) to encourage the baby during the race.
• Participating babies must be Missouri or Kansas residents

There are three options to receive your packet:

• In-person packet pick-up will be Friday, June 6^thfrom 12:00pm to 7:00pm at the Kansas City Chiefs Official Pro Shop located at 1 Red Coat Lane, Kansas City, MO 64129. There is no charge if this option is selected.
• Packets can be mailed via USPS to the shipping address designated during registration.
• Day-of packet pick up may be selected for a $10.00 fee. Participants must pick-up their packets between 6:30am-7:30am on race day at the Pavilion. The Pavilion is located along Arrowhead Drive adjacent to the start line on the South side of the stadium at 63 Arrowhead Dr, Kansas City, MO 64129.

No, you may register online until Friday, June 6^th 11:59pm. It is recommended to register early for a discounted price and to ensure your packet arrives via USPS prior to race day if you elected to have it shipped.

There is not an age limit for the 5K race, however the 1K is reserved exclusively for children up to 12 years of age. The 1K race is for kids 12 years old and younger. The Diaper Dash is for babies ages 6-15 months old. All minor participants will require a guardian's signature on the online waiver page. T-shirt options include youth and infant sizes (6M, 12M, 18M, 24M), so please make those size selections during your registration.

Yes. You may run/walk with your child. When filling out their registration you will be asked if you would like to participate. Please indicate 'yes'.

Yes, the race route is accessible for guests utilizing mobility devices.

Yes, you may run with a jogging stroller. Children riding in strollers do not need to be registered.

Race spectators are encouraged to join their friends for the post-race celebration located in Lot M to watch them cross the finish line and enjoy post-race activities. This year the post-race experience still has a virtual component! We encourage you to upload your race results and photos to your social media platforms.

Unfortunately, no pets and other animals are allowed at the GEHA Field at Arrowhead 5K for the in-person run. Service Animals will be permitted per ADA guidelines.

Processing fees are non-refundable. Registration fees may be refunded once a refund request is made, and the request is approved by management. Please email GEHA5K@brrm.com for any refund questions.

Yes, the 5K competitive wave of the race is a chip-timed event. In-person participants will be chip timed.

Yes. We will have a special prize for the overall female and male winner from the 1K, 5K in-person competitive wave and the diaper dash.

Yes. They will need to bring a printout of your email confirmation and sign for your packet.
