GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium will host a Copa America Group Stage match on Monday, July 1 and CONMEBOL announced today that tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. CT on Wednesday, February 28 at www.copaamerica.com. The match will feature the U.S. Men's National Team taking on 15-
time Copa America champion Uruguay.
In continuation of the club's long-standing policy that honors the commitment of the residents of Jackson County, Missouri, Jackson County taxpayers will have a presale opportunity to purchase Copa America tickets for the match at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium beginning at 10 a.m. CT on Thursday, February 22. The Jackson County taxpayer presale will take place online only and purchasers must use a credit card with a billing zip code within Jackson County to participate.
Chiefs Season Ticket Members will also have access to an exclusive presale for the U.S. vs. Uruguay match at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium beginning at 11 a.m. CT on Thursday, February 22. Both presales will conclude at 11:59 p.m. CT on Tuesday, February 27.
Fans will be able to purchase CONMEBOL Copa America USA 2024TM tickets for the Group Stage, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Third Place Match starting on Wednesday, February 28 at 10 a.m. local time for each stadium through the competition's official website at www.copaamerica.com. Tickets for the Final at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, will be made available at a later date. Fans are encouraged to secure their preferred seats as soon as possible.
The CONMEBOL Copa America 2024™ will be played across 14 cities in the United States from June 20 to July 14, 2024. The 14 stadiums, distributed across 10 U.S. states in all regions, will be dressed in the colors and image of one of the continent's most exciting national team tournaments.
The 48th edition of the tournament includes 32 matches played over 25 days of competition, and 16 participating teams, 10 from CONMEBOL and six from Concacaf, as guests. The Group Stage will be played from June 20 to July 2, followed by the Quarterfinals from July 4 to 6, the Semifinals on July 9 and 10, the Third Place Match on July 13, and the Final in Miami on July 14.
The official draw for the Group Stage, which divided the 16 participating teams into four groups, took place on December 7, 2023, in Miami, FL. The four groups are the following:
Group A: Argentina, Peru, Chile, and Concacaf 5
Group B: Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Jamaica
Group C: United States, Uruguay, Panama, and Bolivia
Group D: Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Concacaf 6
The remaining participating Concacaf teams will be decided in a Concacaf Nations League Play-In between Canada and Trinidad and Tobago (Concacaf 5) and Costa Rica and Honduras (Concacaf 6) on March 23, 2024. The winner of each matchup will qualify for the Group Stage.
