This marks the fifth trip to iconic Arrowhead Stadium in the past six years for Chesney, whose 2015 show set an Arrowhead Stadium concert attendance record this past July. No artist or group has played Arrowhead Stadium more than Chesney.
The seventh stop of 11 North American stadiums on the tour, Kansas City marks the only stop in the six-state region of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The show marks the first concert announcement for Arrowhead Events for the 2016 calendar year and it comes on the heels of the most successful special events season in franchise history in 2015. The 2016 concert is the eighth concert date for Arrowhead Stadium since 2011 and the 48th music event (concert or festival) in the stadium's history.
