The individual "player ratings" in the upcoming Madden NFL 25 video game were released this week, and unsurprisingly, the Kansas City Chiefs were well regarded.
In fact, seven members of the back-to-back defending Super Bowl champions earned a rating of 90 or higher in this year's game:
- QB Patrick Mahomes: 99 overall
- TE Travis Kelce: 99 overall
- DT Chris Jones: 97 overall
- C Creed Humphrey: 92 overall
- OG Joe Thuney: 91 overall
- CB Trent McDuffie: 90 overall
- OG Trey Smith: 90 overall
Two of those players, Mahomes and Kelce, landed in the "99 Club" yet again in what has become an annual tradition. Additionally, Mahomes, Kelce and Jones each earned the top rating at their respective position.
Mahomes and Kelce were also ranked as the top quarterback and pass-catcher duo in this year's game while rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy earned the second-best "speed rating" of any player.
It's all to say that the Chiefs will be in good shape on the virtual gridiron when Madden NFL 25 comes out later this month.
