Power Rankings Week 9 | Where do the Chiefs Rank Following Sunday's Victory?

Here’s a look at the latest NFL “power rankings” from around the web

The Kansas City Chiefs fought back to win a thriller on Sunday night, defeating the Tennessee Titans in overtime on Sunday Night Football. The win moved Kansas City into a tie for the top record in the conference while also maintaining the Chiefs' high standing in the various NFL "power rankings" from around the web.

The Chiefs checked in at No. 3 in NFL.com’s rankings this week, trailing only Philadelphia and Buffalo. Here's a portion of what Around the NFL writer Dan Hanzus had to say about the Chiefs:

"How maddening must it be to try to stop Patrick Mahomes? The superstar quarterback struggled to find consistency in the passing game on Sunday night against the Titans, so he used his legs on the fourth-quarter drive that forced overtime in the eventual 20-17 win. Scrambling has always been an underrated element of Mahomes' game, and it killed Tennessee in what was an otherwise sterling effort by Mike Vrabel's defense."

Kansas City also landed at No. 3 in The Ringer’s rankings this week, slotting in behind the Eagles and Bills. Writer Austin Gayle lauded the Chiefs' offensive success this season in his analysis:

"[Patrick Mahomes] enters Week 10 helming a Chiefs offense that's leading the NFL in expected points added per drive—and the gap between Kansas City and the no. 2 Bills is the same as the Bills' lead over the no. 18 Bears. Mahomes is the standard; every other quarterback is looking up at him right now."

Elsewhere, Sports Illustrated continued the trend with their rankings, placing Kansas City at No. 3. Here's a portion of what they wrote about the Chiefs:

"Patrick Mahomes is still magic, and they are still the team to beat in the division we all expected to be the NFL's best."

Here's a look at where the Chiefs landed in a handful of other "power rankings" from around the web:
