Here's What to Know About the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine

The Combine kicks off in Indianapolis this week

The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine kicks off this week as more than 300 college prospects embark on what is essentially the ultimate job interview.

The Combine – which will once again take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis – consists of interviews, medical evaluations, workouts and drills as part of a standardized, information-gathering event ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft in April.

Several top decision-makers from the Kansas City Chiefs will be in attendance, including Head Coach Andy Reid and General Manager Brett Veach. In fact, both Reid and Veach will speak to the media on Tuesday, February 27.

Among the 321 prospects invited to this year's Combine are a handful of players from Kansas City area high schools and universities. That group includes:

NFL Network will provide live coverage of on-field drills beginning on February 29. Some notable drills include the 40-yard dash, the bench press, the vertical jump, the broad jump and the three-cone drill.

February 29 (2 p.m. CT): Defensive Linemen and Linebackers

March 1 (2 p.m. CT): Defensive Backs, Tight Ends

March 2 (12 p.m. CT): Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers and Running Backs

March 3 (12 p.m. CT): Offensive Linemen
