Chris Jones and Creed Humphrey Land in the Top 10 of PFF's Player Rankings

Five total Chiefs earned a spot in PFF’s top 101 players

A day after cornerback Trent McDuffie checked in at No. 16 on Pro Football Focus' rankings of the top 101 players from the 2024 campaign, two additional members of the Kansas City Chiefs cracked the top 10.

The folks at PFF recognized defensive tackle Chris Jones (No. 8) and center Creed Humphrey (No. 7) on Friday, making the Chiefs one of three teams to feature multiple players in the top 10 of PFF's rankings.

Jones, who checked in as PFF's top defensive tackle and second-best overall defensive player, ranked sixth among all players in 2024 with 74 total pressures. Here's what PFF wrote about Jones:

"Jones led all interior defenders with 88 pressures this season, earning an elite 91.5 pass-rush grade. This is the sixth time in the past seven seasons that Jones has recorded at least a 90.0 pass-rush grade. Jones also missed just one tackle all season, tied for the fewest among any defensive lineman who played at least 500 snaps this season."

Joining Jones in the top 10 is Humphrey, who ranked second among all offensive linemen in PFF's rankings behind only the Eagles' Jordan Mailata. Here's what PFF had to say about the Chiefs' All-Pro center:

"Among the 40 centers who played at least 300 snaps this season, Humphrey led the group with a 92.4 overall grade and a 91.5 run-blocking grade. That overall grade is the highest recorded by a center (min. 300 snaps) since Jason Kelce recorded a 94.1 grade in 2017. Humphrey's first four seasons in the NFL have been so outstanding that he trails only Nick Mangold with a 94.9 career PFF Grade among centers."

Overall, five members of the Chiefs landed in this year's "PFF 101" rankings:

OG Joe Thuney (No. 46)

QB Patrick Mahomes (No. 39)

CB Trent McDuffie (No. 16)

DT Chris Jones (No. 8)

C Creed Humphrey (No. 7)
