The Kansas City Chiefs will find themselves back on the national stage five times in 2019.
The Chiefs' prime-time slate next season includes one appearance on Monday Night Football, one on Thursday Night Football and three on Sunday Night Football. In fact, between Week 5 and 8, Kansas City will take the field three times under the lights.
Two of those games will take place at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs are 34-6 over the past five seasons – the second-best mark in the NFL – and 7-3 in prime-time matchups. That slate begins with a Week 5 bout against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football and continues when the Green Bay Packers come to town in Week 8, which will also take place on Sunday Night Football.
The Chiefs will be on the road for the other three contests, including a trip south of the border to take on the Los Angeles Chargers at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City for Monday Night Football on November 18. The Chiefs will also be in the national spotlight for a Thursday Night Football matchup in Denver during Week 7 and a Sunday Night Football showdown with the Chicago Bears in Week 16.
