Chiefs Sign WR JuJu Smith-Schuster

The Chiefs brought back a familiar face on Monday

The Kansas City Chiefs reunited with a familiar name on Monday as wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster officially signed with the back-to-back defending Super Bowl champions.

Smith-Schuster, who won the Super Bowl with the Chiefs in 2022, racked up 78 catches for 933 yards and three touchdowns during his lone season in Kansas City. He then added 10 catches for 89 yards during the playoffs that year, including seven grabs for 53 yards in Super Bowl LVII.

Smith-Schuster spent last season with New England, catching 29 passes for 260 yards and a score in 11 games. Prior to joining the Chiefs, he played the first five seasons of his career in Pittsburgh, where he hauled in 323 receptions for 3,855 yards and 26 touchdowns in 63 games.

The 27-year-old Smith-Schuster went on to turn in the second-highest yardage total of his career during his one season with the Chiefs, and now two years later, Smith-Schuster is back in Kansas City.
