The Kansas City Chiefs are leading the Denver Broncos, 16-14, at halftime as the division rivals clash at Arrowhead Stadium this afternoon.
Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 13-of-17 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns in the half, finding tight end Travis Kelce for a 9-yard score midway through the second quarter to put Kansas City out in front.
Kelce hauled in four catches for 53 yards in the half, finding the end zone for a fourth-straight time against the Broncos.
Mahomes later hit wide receiver Sammy Watkins for a 13-yard touchdown to extend the Chiefs' lead in the closing seconds of the half. Fellow receiver Tyreek Hill also put together a productive half for Kansas City, catching two passes for a team-high 62 yards.
