As the playoffs approach, the Chiefs are excited to announce "The Magic Number," an original, lighthearted, multi-episode buddy-style comedy series that will debut on the Chiefs YouTube Channel and Chiefs official social channels at 3 p.m. CT on Tuesday, January 14.

Just like the electrifying energy on the field, there's also magic in Chiefs fandom – in the traditions, the spirit and the passion. "The Magic Number" follows two fans on an adventurous quest for their third friend, hoping to bring the team good luck. The multi-part series promises to deliver a mix of humor, heart and playful storytelling. The comedy is voiced by Kansas City native and Chiefs fan Jason Sudeikis, with key cast members including comedian and actor Pete Holmes (I Am Not for Everyone), actor Holly Robinson Peete (21 Jump Street), actor Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: Organized Crime), and additional surprise cameos from actor and comedian David Koechner and more.

"We are thrilled to share another special playoff campaign video with our fans, once again capturing the magic of the postseason," Chiefs President Mark Donovan said. "'The Magic Number' is an original concept that we created to celebrate the passion, camaraderie, friendship and joy that our fans bring year after year. With this fun and heartwarming story, we wanted to make something that resonates with all of Chiefs Kingdom, putting them at the heart of the action as we embark on another postseason journey."

"I had so much fun with this Chiefs playoffs campaign," Holmes said. "The story celebrates the connection and companionship sports bring, and I'm excited to share this adventure with all the fans. The cast and the crew were amazing – Holly, David and I ruined a bunch of takes cracking each other up – and I loved playing a part in this fun take on fandom."

"The opportunity for me to collaborate with the Kansas City Chiefs on this fun playoffs campaign has been a sentimental, full-circle moment for my husband Rodney, our family and me," Robinson Peete shared. "In 1984, the Chiefs gave my beloved late father-in-law, Willie Peete, his first NFL assistant coaching job, which launched his 15-year coaching career in the league. He was always deeply grateful for that. The Chiefs, and Lamar and Norma Hunt, will always hold a special place in our family's heart."

"Being a part of this Kansas City Chiefs campaign was such a blast," Meloni said. "It's a perfect blend of humor and heart, showing how sports can bring people together in the most unexpected ways. I had a great time working with the crew and playing a part in this fun take on fandom."

Additionally, earlier today, the Chiefs released "Three Acts," a thrilling 60-second hype video that takes fans on a memorable journey ahead of the postseason, setting the stage for the club's "Let's Make Magic" playoffs campaign. Watch "Three Acts" here.

As the team's official playoffs partner, Hy-Vee will help amplify the magic by sponsoring the in-stadium light show at each home game during the playoffs (time of game permitting). Hy-Vee also helped the club surprise a deserving community member, Paula Pratt, Director of Community Engagement at Harvesters, with two tickets to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. The special moment took place during a magic show in conjunction with Mitch Holthus' 'Chiefs Kingdom Show,' held at one of their local stores on Monday, Dec. 30.
