CREVICAL CANCER
Cervical cancer is one of the most common gynecological cancers. It develops from a precursor lesion (CINIII) over a period of 8 to 10 years. It also can change in less than a year.
The cervix is the lower part of the uterus that opens into the vagina. Cervical cancer can often be cured when it's found early. It usually is found at a very early stage through a Pap test. Although gynecological cancers can occur at any age, they happen most often in the middle to later age groups.
